Cam:  Yaj, one of the most important things for me is to have breakfast in the morning… and it’s great when it’s included with the room price.  Can I ask them that?
Yajie:  Sure… you can say…房费包括早餐吗?
Cam: fang2 fei4 bao1 kuo4 zao3 can1 ma?
YJ:  fang2 is short for fang2 jian1, it means room,
Cam: fang2
YJ: fei4 means the price,
Cam: fei4.
YJ:  bao1 kuo4 means include,
Cam: bao1 kuo4,
YJ: zao3 can1, breakfast,
Cam: zao3 can1.
YJ: fang2 fei4 bao1 kuo4 zao3 can1 ma?
Cam: fang2 fei4 bao1 kuo4 zao3 can1 ma? Is breakfast included with the room price?

Cam:  To wake up in time for breakfast, I need a wakeup call… for say, 7am…
YJ: Well, call the front desk and tell them…我要7点的叫早服务.….
Cam: wo3 yao4 qi1 dian3 de jiao4 zao3 fu2 wu4.
YJ: wo3 yao4 means I need,
Cam: wo3 yao4,
YJ: qi1 dian3 means 7 o’clock,
Cam: qi1 dian3.
YJ: jiao4 zao3 means a wakeup call, 
Cam: jiao4 zao3.
YJ: fu2 wu4, service,
Cam: fu2 wu4,
YJ: 我要7点的叫早服务
Cam: wo3 yao4 qi1 dian3 de jiao4 zao3 fu2 wu4. I need a wakeup call at 7 a.m.

Cam:  What time is that?
YJ: I don’t know!  You’ll have to ask them.  You can say几点退房?

YJ: ji2 dian3 means what time, 
Cam: ji2 dian3,
YJ: tui4 fang2 means to check out,
Cam: tui4 fang2
YJ: ji2 dian3 tui4 fang2?
Cam: ji2 dian3 tui4 fang2? What time is check-out?
