Y: You can ask me:  你喜欢动物吗？
B: ni2 xi3 huan1 dong4 wu4 ma?
Y: dong4 wu is animal,
B: dong4 wu,
Y: xi3 huan1 means like,
B: xi3 huan1,
Y: ni2 xi3 huan1 dong4 wu ma?
B: ni2 xi3 huan1 dong4 wu ma? Do you like animals? and what about, yes I do?

B: xi3 huan1. since xi3 huan1 means like, right?

（1）A: 你喜欢动物吗？
B:  喜欢。

B: 那还用说，当然喜欢了。

B: Now, I think most people have a soft spot for one animal or another, but just in case, someone doesn’t, I guess we add a bu to the sentence, to say we don’t like, is that right Y?
Y: Very good, let’s give it a try. I don’t like animals. 我不喜欢动物。
B: wo3 bu4 xi3 huan1 dong4 wu4
Y: dong4 wu4 is animal,
B: dong4 wu4,
Y: bu4 xi3 huan1 means don’t like,

Y: That’s 老虎。
B: lao2 hu3…and lion?
Y:  狮子。
B: shi1 zi... And of course, China’s very own panda. Do you say panda in Chinese?
Y: Bu dui, no we don’t. You should say  大熊猫。
B: da4 xiong2 mao1,
Y: da4 means giant,
B: da4,
Y: da4 xiong2 mao1
B: da4 xiong2 mao1 giant panda.

Y: it’s peacock. Although it usually costs a few hours to see its beautiful feathers open… I think it’s worth it.
