2001年考研真题作文3 Directions: Among all the worthy feelings of mankind, live is probably the noblest, but everyone has his/her own understanding of it, There has been a discussion recently on the issue in a newspaper. Write an essay to newspaper to： 1. show your understanding of the symbolic meaning of the picture below, 2. give a specific example, and 3. give your suggestion as to the best way to show live. You should write about 200 words on ANSWER SHEET 2. (20 points)  [审题解题] 2001年考研英语写作又经历了一次重大变革——要求字数从150字以上提高到200字左右，也就是说，写在180字以下的文章要扣分。同时写作这部分所占的分数也由15分提高到20分，充分体出了对写作这一部分的重视。写作是一种产出性的技能，最能直接体现考生综合运作语方的能力，再怎么强调也不为过啊。 这次的漫画可谓历年考试中最为简明的，但却意义深远：油灯上面的火焰象是个孩子的微笑，在黑暗中发出明亮的光芒，上面有一句话：“爱心是一盏灯，在越黑暗的地方越明亮”——这句话很关键，前面是个暗喻，后面是个越…越…的结构。提纲分为三点，一是写出对漫画象征意义的理解，二是举出一个具体的事例，三是就献爱心的最好办法给出建议。我们应紧扣提纲，可分三段来写。在第一段中，不仅应包含漫画的描述，还应描述旁边的一句话。在第二段中，应举一个能与漫画所表达的深刻的道理相匹配的典型事例。 [核心词汇] present 呈现 gives out bright flame 发出明亮的火焰 so innocent and pure smile 如此天真纯洁的笑容 devoted ourselves to 献身于 [组词成句] 文章首段的首句和次句应该描述漫画，首句可以说“在呈现给我们的这幅画中一盏油灯在黑暗的背景中发出明亮的火焰“。这里的present表示“呈现”。 In the picture presented to us, an oil lamp gives out bright flame against the dark background. 次句可以说“火焰设计成了一个孩子的模样，是如此的天真和纯洁”。其中innocent和pure分别指“天真的”和“纯洁的”。 The flame is designed to be a child’s smile, so innocent and pure.
