科学家称：人有电话心灵感应(图)

　　NORWICH (Reuters) - Many people have experienced the phenomenonofreceiving a telephone call from someone shortly after thinkingaboutthem -- now a scientist says he has proof of what he callstelephonetelepathy.

　　许多人都有过这样的经历——刚刚想起某人后就接到了那人的电话。
现在，一名科学家表示，这就是他证实过的所谓的电话心灵感应。

　　Rupert Sheldrake, whose research is funded by therespectedTrinity College, Cambridge, said on Tuesday he hadconductedexperiments that proved that such precognition existedfortelephone calls and even e-mails.

　　Each person in the trials was asked to give researchers namesandphone numbers of four relatives or friends. These were thencalledat random and told to ring the subject who had to identifythecaller before answering the phone.

　　研究人员要求参与实验的人提供4位亲朋的电话号码。之后，实验者会随机接到电话，但必须在接电话前猜出来电者是谁，来电主题是什么。

　　The hit rate was 45 percent, well above the 25 percent youwouldhave expected, he told the annual meeting of theBritishAssociation for the Advancement of Science.

　　在英国进步科学协会的年度大会上，谢德拉克表示：“实验者猜测结果的命中率达到45％，远远高出我们预期的25％。”

　　He said he found the same result with people being asked tonameone of four people sending them an e-mail before it hadlanded.

　　However, his sample was small on both trials -- just 63 peopleforthe controlled telephone experiment and 50 for the email -- andonlyfour subjects were actually filmed in the phone study and fiveinthe email, prompting some scepticism.

　　Undeterred, Sheldrake -- who believes in the interconnectednessofall minds within a social grouping -- said that he was extendinghisexperiments to see if the phenomenon also worked for mobilephonetext messages.
