S: 几JI ji, can mean ‘a few', as in ‘ji ge peng you', and sometimes it means ‘how many', as in ‘ji ceng?' ‘how many floors?', or, in this case, ‘what floor'. Jiuba zai ji ceng? M: zai er ceng.
