For now, Fergie is focusing on the special someone already in her life: Josh Duhamel.

 

Fergie: 'Maybe' I'll have a baby this year
New year -- new addition?
Fergie tells PEOPLE that 2012 might be the year she starts a family with her husband of nearly three years, Josh Duhamel.

"Maybe, who knows?" the singer, 36, said about her baby plans while ringing in the new year at the grand opening of The Mirage's 1 OAK Las Vegas. "We'll see."

For now, she's focusing on the special someone already in her life: Duhamel, 39, with whom she first stepped out in 2004.

"I want to spend time with my husband, watch football, watch basketball," she said. "I'm going where the day takes me -- having days where I have no schedule. That's going to be nice and refreshing for me ... a definite change."

The singer, who rapped to the crowd as Kanye West manned the deejay booth, said she also wants to redecorate her house (perhaps a nursery?).

She added about her hopes for the new year: "I'm looking forward to being home and not having to sleep in a different city or country every night."
