Chinese actress Sun Li donned angel wings for a new anti-fur ad for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia.
Smoke machines on set created an illusion of the actress walking on clouds as she encouraged fans to turn their backs on wearing fur with the slogan: "Be an Angel. Don't Wear Fur."
"I hope no one wears fur. Don't deck yourselves with animals' lives. We have many other options to make ourselves beautiful and warm," the actress says, "It's so cruel to kill so many animals just to make a piece of clothing. It's such a bad thing to do, so I hope everybody can stay away from fur."
Sun Li was supported by PETA Asia director Jason Baker, who said education is the key to stopping people from wearing fur.
"People don't know. When people learn how animals suffer in fur farms or what life on factory farms for the meat industry, or how cosmetics companies are still testing on animals, when people learn it, they are outraged. When they see the videos, when they see our undercover investigations, it makes people change."
